REAR AXLE NUT AND LOCK NUT
Retighten the rear axle nut periodi-
cally. Apply SUZUKI BOND 1322
before retightening the rear axle nut.
Rear axle nut tightening torque:
240 N·m (24 kgf-m, 173.5 lb-ft)
NOTE: Ask your Suzuki dealer or a
qualified mechanic to retighten the
axle nut because this job requires
special tool.
SPARK ARRESTER
The muffler has a spark arrester
which must be periodically cleaned to
maintain good efficiency. At the inter-
vals shown in the maintenance chart,
clean the spark arrester as follows.
1. Disconnect the coupler.
WARNING
A hot muffler can harm you.
You can be burned if you touch
the hot muffler.
Wait until the muffler cools to
avoid burns.
