LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT
The wattage rating of each bulb is
shown in the following chart. When
replacing a burned-out bulb, always
use the same wattage rating.
HEADLIGHT
To replace the headlight bulb, use the
following procedure:
1. Remove the headlight adjusting
bolt. Move the headlight upward to
get enough space to remove the
headlight bulb.
2. Remove the socket cover.
3. Turn the socket counterclockwise
and bulb remove it.
4. Put a new bulb in the headlight
and then reinstall the socket and
socket cover.
5. Tighten the headlight adjusting
bolt.
Headlight 12V 40/40W
CAUTION
Failure to use a light bulb with the
correct wattage rating can dam-
age your ATV.
The electrical system can over-
load, or the bulb may burn out
sooner.
Use only the light bulbs shown in
the chart as replacement bulbs.
CAUTION
Touching the headlight bulb glass
with a bare hand may damage the
bulb.
The bulb’s life may be shortened
by oil from your fingers if you
touch it.
When replacing the headlight
bulb, be careful not to touch the
glass. Grasp the new bulb with a
clean cloth.
