Tire Inspection
• Be sure to check and inflate the tire when engine is turned off.
• Measure the tire pressure by tire pressure gauge and inflate to recommended tire pressure.
Front tire: 1.8 kgf/㎠
Rear tire: 2.3 kgf/㎠
• Visually check if the tire is cracked or cut.
• Visually check if small stone or nail is stuck in the thread.
• Check the tire wear by the thread wear indicator.
• Replace the tire if worn out.
Steering and Front Fork Inspection
• Check while engine is turned off.
• Visual check if the front forks are damaged or l leaking oil.
• Compress the front forks by pushing down the
steering handle to check if the forks operate smoothly
without noise.
• Check if the steering axle locknut is tightened properly.
• Turn the handlebar at all directions to check if the
handlebar operates smoothly.
• Check if the handlebar is pulled by the brake hose.
• Have your scooter checked by an authorized
SYM dealer for your safety.
