OPERATION

Prepare a Portaﬁlter

1.Forbestresults,usefreshcoﬀee.Groundcoﬀeeshouldbebrewedassoonaspossibleaergrinding.

2.Selectthecorrectspoutandbasketconﬁguraon.Single,doubleandboomlessportaﬁltersareavailable

throughSynesso™.Thesinglespoutportaﬁlterisusedwithasingle(7g)baskettobrewasingleshot.The

doublespoutedorboomlessportaﬁlterscanbeusedwithdouble(14g)ortriple(18gor21g)basketsto

brewtriple,double,or2singleshotsofespresso.

3.Filltheportaﬁlterbasketjustabovelevelandwipeoﬀtheexcess.

4.Pressstraightdownevenlyontopofthegroundswiththetamper.

NOTE:Whennotinuse,keeptheportaﬁlterengagedinthegroupheadtokeepitwarm.

Espresso Brewing

1.Grindadoseofcoﬀeeappropriatetothebasketyouwillbeusing.

2.Dispenseintotheportaﬁlterbasket.

3.Levelthemoundandcompressusingatamper.(Atamperissuppliedwiththemachine.)

4.Engagetheportaﬁlterintothebrewgroupthathasthecorrecttemperaturesengforthisespressoroast

andpullﬁrmlytotherighttosettheseal.


