TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

An Individual Tank Reads LOW:
• Have a technician perform further diagnoscs.
An Individual Tank Reads Above the Set Point:
• Have a technician perform further diagnoscs.
Handheld Controller Display is Blank:
• If the red power switch is in the ON posion and is NOT lit, there is a lack of power to the machine. Check
the wall plug and circuit breaker.
• If the red power switch is in the ON posion and is lit, check that the lid of the electronics box is ghtly
secured to the box. There is a safety interlock switch inside the box which interrupts power to the elec-
tronics when the lid of the electronics box is loose or removed.
• Have a technician perform further diagnoscs.
Shot Timers are Blank; Machine is Powered:
• Have a technician perform further diagnoscs.
Shot Timers are Cycling Through All Possible Indicators:
• Shot mer is stuck in test mode. Have a technician inspect the mer board.
Steam Wand
Drip at the Steam Wand Tip:
• A small amount of water will naturally drip as water condenses and accumulates in the wand between
uses. Make a habit of purging the steam wand of all accumulated liquids before and directly aer steam-
ing a pitcher of milk.
• Steam valve seal is worn. Have a technician perform a steam valve rebuild.
• Steam valve is lled with milk residue. Have a technician inspect and clean the valve.
• Steam actuator is engaging valve in o posion. Actuator needs to be adjusted.
Wand is Hard to Move or Scky:
• Remove wand at the nut, clean and lubricate moving parts with food grade grease
Water Bubbles Out Around Wand Ball Pivot:
• Wand ball o-ring is worn, replace with new Teon o-ring from steam valve rebuild kit.
Weak Steam Pressure from Wand:
• Steam valve not fully opening, steam handle needs to be adjusted
• Steam p is clogged. Clear steam p of residue.
• Steam valve is clogged. Have a technician inspect the valve.
