TheS-typelabyrinthperipheralsealisanon-contactsealxedtothefaceplateoftheunit.Thesealoverlapsinsidetherotorcasingfor
increaseairtightness.Itisfactoryinstalledandadjusted.Nosealadjustmentisrequiredintheeld.
LOW FRICTION SIDE & CENTER
Thelowfrictionsideandcentersealarecontactsealsxedtothewheelframe.Themiddlesealsarelocatedbehindthepillowblock
bearings. The side seals are installed on the side of the rotor, along the depth dimension. They are factory installed and adjusted. No seal
adjustmentisrequiredintheeld.
