The equipment required to validate the environment water sealing on a TP3000 radio is the
Pressure Tester shown below.
Operation
1. Select the 6 mm test nozzle.
2. Connect the test nozzle to the end of the pressure tester.
3. Validate the pressure tester against a flat surface:
a. Pump in some air.
b. The pressure should hold and not gradually decrease.
c. Check the release valve above the pump bulb, it should be closed.
