Replacing the Differential Gear
Oil
WARNING
� Stop the engine and allow the machine
to cool down before performing
maintenance.
• The differential are hot directly after
the engine is stopped. Touching them
will cause burns.
• The gear oil is also hot and under high
pressure.
Be careful when loosening plugs.
Working on the machine under these
conditions could result in burns or
injuries.

The pressure in the differential gears
case may cause oil or the plug to fly
out. Loosen the plug slowly to release
the pressure.
1. Park the machine on a level surface. Stop
the engine.
2. Place a pan for catching the spent oil under
plugs (3).
3. Remove plugs (3) and drain the oil.
4. Tighten plugs (3).
5. Supply oil through the hole for plug (2) until
oil flows out of the hole (1).
6. Tighten plugs (1), (2).
Replacing the Transmission Gear
Oil

the engine is stopped. Touching them

• The gear oil is also hot and under high
pressure.

The pressure in the transmission
reduction gears case may cause oil
or the plug to fly out. Loosen the plug
slowly to release the pressure.
1. Park the machine on a level surface. Stop
the engine.
2. Place a pan for catching the spent oil under
plug (2).
3. Remove plug (2) and drain the oil.
4. Tighten plug (2).
5. Supply oil through the hole for plug (1) until
oil flows out of the hole.
6. Tighten plug (1).
