Steering Wheel
CAUTION
Check the position of the upperstructure
in relation to the undercarriage. If the
steering axle is not located beneath the
cab, changes in direction and steering
wheel turns will not coincide.
The steering contains the steering wheel (1)
and turn signal switch (2) for driving.
Change direction by carefully turning the
wheel. The additional steering knob makes
major steering wheel movement easier.
Adjusting the position of the steering
wheel
WARNING
� Be sure to adjust the position of the
steering wheel before driving the
excavator.
If you attempt to adjust it while
driving the excavator, steering will
become unstable, possibly resulting in
accidents.

Check that the steering wheel is
securely locked in place.
After adjusting it. If not it may move
unexpectedly, and this is dangerous.
The position of the steering wheel can
be adjusted in up/down and front/back
directions.
Up/Down
1. Turn the cap (3) counterclockwise and pull
up or push down the wheel.
2. Tighten the cap (3).
Forward/backward
1. Press the lever (4) to the right and tilt the
steering wheel forward or backward.
2. Release the lever (4) at the desired angle.
