Statement
ERL
Returns the number
of
the line in which an error has occurred.
This function is primarily used inside an error-handling routine.
If
no error has occurred, ERL returns
a
0.
If a statement entered
at
BASIC’s
prompt causes the error, ERL returns line number
65535
(the largest number that can be represented in
2
bytes).
Examples
PRINT
ERL
prints the line number
of
the error.
E
=
ERL
stores the error’s line number in variable E.
