22 Frothing milk
3. Hold a heat-resistant receptacle with a handle beneath
the steam nozzle.
4. Slowly turn the steam knob anticlockwise beyond
the resistance point. A small quantity of water will be
dis charged.
5. As soon as the water jet runs dry and only steam
emanates, turn the steam knob clockwise as far it will
go to close it.
The machine is then ready for frothing milk.
Do not be alarmed! The steam is emitted under
pressure.
To begin with, the steam may be emitted in short
bursts. This is normal and harmless.
