2.3 ENGINE HOOD
■ REMOVAL
① Remove the overhead guard. (See “2.2 HOOD
AND OVERHEAD GUARD.”)
② Remove the clip (3) and washer (4) securing
the gas spring (1) to the overhead guard (2).
③ Raise the engine hood so that the gas spring (1)
is fully stretched. Then, remove the gas spring
from the overhead guard.
