Notes on electrical and electronic components
Your pedelec is supplied with the
corresponding operating manual for
the integrated motor from the com-
ponent manufacturer. Information on operat-
ing, maintaining and cleaning your bicycle
as well as technical information is included
in this manual as well as on the website of
the respective component manufacturer.
The electrical motor in your pedelec
is very powerful. To operate it cor-
rectly and safely, it is necessary to
have it serviced by a specialist retailer on a
regular basis. Immediately remove the bat-
tery if you identify any damage to the electri-
cal system or see live parts exposed after a
fall or accident. Always consult a specialist
retailer if you require repairs, want to ask
about a question or problem, or have identi-
ed a defect. A lack of specialised knowledge
can lead to severe accidents and injuries.
Before performing any kind of work on
your pedelec / e-bike, turn off the elec-
tric motor unit and remove the battery.
If you send your pedelec’s battery
by post, you have to adhere to strict
requirements. Please ask the man-
ufacturer or your specialist retailer about the
applicable regulations.
If you transport your pedelec by car, please
remove the battery and transport it sepa-
rately.
