The accompanying tool “AT&T Global Network Client Firewall settings” (version 6.x client or later) , shown in
Figure 35 allows you to deactivate the firewall, after which the setup-tool will find the modem:

To disable the AT&T Global Network Firewall, use the Windows start button, go to “Programs”, go to “AT&T Global
Network Client”. Select “Firewall Settings”. Push “Turn OFF” to disable the firewall.
5.3 LED diagnostics
After establishing Internet connectivity, at least the following LEDs should solidly light green: Power and Broadband.
When service option 2 is selected (AT&T VPN services), the Internet LED (@) should also be green. Service option 1
(AT&T VPN Gateway /Cisco) will not activate the Internet LED, even when there is an active Internet connection.
In the table below an overview of the LED indications is available.
