Using the external sound control
The external sound control function sw itches betw een Noise cancelling and A m b ient sound.
1 While wearing this unit, touch the touch sensor (© ) Right (R) side
• The default level setting is “Noise cancelling”.
• When the “Technics Audio Connect” app is used, you can set to “O FF”.
2 Adjust the volume of the playback device.
■ Noise cancelling
R educes the sounds (noise) you can hear from outside.
• Noise cancelling can be optimized with the “Technics Audio Connect” app. Adjust it beforehand to achieve the best
condition.
• While using the noise cancelling function, a very small amount of noise which is generated from the circuit that
reduces noise may be heard, but this is normal and not indicative of any trouble. (This very-low-level noise may be
heard in quiet places or in the blank parts between tracks.)
■ Ambient sound
You can hear am bient sound through the microphones em b ed d ed in this unit while enjoying music.

•You can change the functions assigned to the touch sensors on the “Technics Audio Connect” app (free of charge).
