can

means,
for

cassettes

a
long
recording

the
cassettes
to
be
used
for
recording
into
deck

and
deck
2.
Be
sure
that
the
forward-side
indicators
of
both
tape
decks
are
illuminated.
(Press
the
forward-side
playback
but¬
ton,
followed
immediately
by
the
stop
button.)

Set
the
reverse
mode
selector
to
the
“cx?”
position.
To
record
using
the
ATC
function,
now
press
the
ATC
button
on
deck
2,
and
then,
after
the
ATC
settings
have
been
com¬
pleted,
press
the
ATC
button
on
deck
1.
