To memorize codes
1 Select the component.
2 Select “LEARN”.
3 Press “ENTER”.
“LEARN” will flash.
4 Select the key to be programmed.
The “LEARN” will flash faster.
Notes:
4. For memorizing “VCR REC” keys in VCR 1 or VCR 2 mode,
press two keys simultaneously.
2. For memorizing ‘TV SELECTOR” key in TV mode, select
the mode by the “TV SELECTOR” key and then press the
“ENTER” key.
3. itis recommended that, for your convenience, the optional
keys (A, B, C, D) be used to memorize the codes that you
often use.
4. If the key, which is already assigned for memory, is press-
ed, the “ERROR” indicator will illuminate. This means the
key can not be assigned to store memory.

Repeat steps 4
and 5 for each
key function to
be programmed.
5 Press and hold the key corresponding to the
function to be memorized while the “LEARN”
indicator flashes rapidly; hold the key until
the “OK” indicator illuminates.
tf the “ERROR” indicator illuminates, repeat steps 4 and 5
once again.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each key function to
be programmed.
When changing the component to be memorized, select the
desired component as described in step 1, and follow steps
4and 5.
To alter the program, cancel the memorized code (see page
70.) and then repeat the above procedures.
Press the “USE” key to return to the “USE”
mode.
