Getting Started
Before using the player you should charge the battery
• Makesuretheplayerisswitchedo.
• ConnectthesuppliedUSBcabletotheplayer
• PlugthecableintoafreeUSBportonthePC.
• Ifconnectionissuccessfulyouwillseetheplayerscreenontheright.
• Youshouldleavetheplayerbatterytochargeforatleastsixhours.
Whiletheplayerischargingyoucanuploadlesdirectlytotheplayerandsynchroniseyour
musicviaWindowsMediaPlayer10or11.Toviewvideolesontheplayeryouwillneedto
convertthemtoasuitableformat.See Page 13-15 for details
DO NOT operate the player controls when it is connected to the PC!!
RESETTING THE PLAYER
WhentheplayerisconnectedtoaPC,thereisafaintpossibilitythatanelectrostatic
dischargemaycausetheplayertofreezeandthescreentoblankout.Intheeventofthis
happeningitwillbenecessarytoperformthisresetprocedure.
• DisconnecttheplayerfromthePC(Refer to Page 15).
• LocatetheRESETholeontheplayer
• Placeasmallpieceofwire(theendofapaperclip)intotheholeandpressgently.
• Thiswillresettheplayerwhichwillnowworknormally.
