4. Tilt the machine on the right side.
5. Back off the nut f using a 13mm wrench and
a 4mm hex wrench.
6. Disconnect the cable, indicated by the arrow,
of the encoder device which shows the
carriage position, fixing it to avoid that it will
be swallowed into the frame by the encoder
device spring.
7. Back off the screws g of the belt fixing
device on the carriage, using a 5mm hex
wrench.

8. Back off the 2 screws h using a Phillips
screwdriver and remove the rear lower
casing.

9. Back off the 4 screws i using a Phillips
screwdriver and remove the rear upper
casing.
