Route the Prob
es to Your System-Under-Test
The rackmount kit design allows you to route your logic analyzer probes out
through the front or rear of your instrument rack.
1. Determine the best route for the probes to y our system under test.
2. Push the logic analyzer end of the probe, one at a time, through the opening at
the front or back of the instrument rack, depending on your system-under-test
location.
3. Route the probe underneath the instrument and through the cable opening on
the probe connection s ide of the shelf.
4. Connect the probe to the instrument. The following figures show the routing
of the probes from the instrument to the front and rear of the rack.
NOTE. It
may be easier to first route all of the probes that you need through the
shelf, and then connect them to the instrument.
