PRIMARY

via F2,
S2.
S3,
S4, and the
line-
selector
block
PI or
P2.
S3
and
S4 are
chassis-mounted
thermal
cut-outs
which
interrupt
primary
power
when
internal
temperatures
rise
above a safe
level.
When
the
instrument
cools,
S3 and S4 will
close and
complete
the
primary
circuit.
C2 shunts
line
transients
to the
neutral
side of the line.
PI
is wired
to
place
the
primary
windings
in
parallel
for
nominal
120
V line
voltage
operation.
P2
is
wired
to
place the
primary
windings
in
series
for
220
V nominal
line
voltage
operation.
