Assembly instructions
If possible, select or plan a weatherproof location for the installation of the letterbox and display
case system. Avoid flaps or doors pointing towards the main weather side. Technically determined
gap dimensions and manufacturing tolerances can lead to moisture penetration under extreme
weather conditions (storm, driving rain, continuous rain, thaw). We recommend that letterboxes
with close-tting aluminium cladding are generally installed in weather-protected places (e.g.
covered entrance area or interior).
Do not assemble the columns, steles, and pylons until their concrete foundation has completely
dried. Condensation may form in the assembled columns, steles, and pylons due to concrete foun-
dations that have not completely dried yet.
