3. BEFORE FIRST USE
After verifying that all of the source connections have been made properly, connect the power supply
according to the following procedures:
3.6 Power supply for the soundbar
Insert the connector plug of the mains adaptor (31) into the DC28V 1.2A connecting
socket (10) at the back of the soundbar.
Connect the mains plug of the power adaptor (31) to a suitable outlet. Make sure that
the power supply voltage is same as needed for the soundbar. The soundbar is ready
for operation.
Switch the ON/OFF switch (11) into the ON position.
Switch ON indicator (2) in front of the soundbar will light up in orange.
3.7 Power supply for the subwoofer
Insert the connector plug of another mains adaptor (31) into the DC28V 1.2A connecting
socket (15) of the subwoofer.
Connect the mains plug of the power adaptor (31) to a suitable outlet. Make sure that
the power supply voltage is same as needed for the subwoofer.
Switch the ON/OFF switch (16) into the ON position.
The Power indicator (14) will light up. PAIR-LED indicator (12) blinks about every 2 - 3
seconds in BLUE. The subwoofer is ready for connection (Pairing).
3.8 Remote control - Inserting batteries (not supplied)
For operation of the remote control, 2 x 1.5 V batteries (Type: R03/LR03/AAA) are
needed (not supplied).
Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
Insert the batteries while observing the polarity markings.
Close the battery compartment cover.
Note: Use batteries of high quality only. Batteries of low quality might leak and cause
damage.
Note: Remove the batteries, if the remote control is not to be used for a longer period of
time, as it might be damaged by a leaking battery. If the remote control does not work
properly, replace the batteries immediately.
3.9 Remote control - using tips
Aim the remote control at the remote control signal receiver (6) on the main unit. The
distance should be less than 7 metres and within a 30°. Make sure there are no obstacles
between the remote control and the main unit.
