7. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem:
Motor stops.
Possible cause: Fuse blown.
Solution:
Find
out
cause
of
fusing. When this
has
been solved, change fuse.
Problem:
Contamination detected
in
work area.
Possible cause: Absolute filter perforated;
it has
come away from
its
frame; sealing joint
between filter and cabinet base ineffective.
Solution:
A
D.O.P. leak test
is
carried
out by a
specialist technician
to
discover causes
of
contamination
and
absolute filter
is
replaced
by
him,
if
necessary.
If contamination continues after
the new
absolute filter
is
installed
and
fresh airtightness
(D.O.P) tests
are
carried
out,
the
user should start looking into correct application
of
work
procedures,
as
there
may be
contamination from
an
outside source, through work tools,
hands
or
the
samples.

CLEANING
AND
DISINFECTION
8.1. SURFACE CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
To clean
the
work table and sides, sterile cloths will
be
used which shed
no
particles
or
fibres.
To disinfect, these cloths will
be
used slightly dampened with
a
disinfectant solution, which will
not affect
the
paint lacquer
or
the stainless steel.
