WARNING
It
is
essential
to
read
and
understand this Manual before going ahead with Vertical Laminar Flow
Cabinet start-up.
All
the
instructions
in
this Manual must
be
obeyed.
Before carrying
out any
Maintenance work
on the
cabinet, switch
it off
from
the
source
of
supply.

application
not in
keeping with
the
recommendations given
in
this Manual
may

GENERAL DETAILS
2.1. WORKING PRINCIPLE
MINI-V/PCR vertical laminar flow cabinets
are
equipped with
a
high frequency centrifugal
fan.
The outside cabinet
is
made
of
stainless steel sheet, lacquered
and
oven dried,
of
functional
design
and
optimum dimensions.
Outside
air
taken
in (1)
passes through
a
pre-filter
(2), is
sucked
by a fan (3),
impelled
towards
a
plenum, passed through
a
HEPA absolute filter and,
as
laminar flow enters
the
work area, reaches Class
100
according
to us
Fed.
Std. 209 D;
then
it is
forced
out by it's
high pressure

AND

This vertical laminar flow cabinet
is
suitable
for
dealing with samples
or
products which
involve
the
need
for
sterile
air
conditions according
to
Class
100 in the
work area,
but
where
neither operator
nor
environmental protection
is
necessary.
