What to do if my Tennant 6100 G/LP Floor Machine has excessive dusting?
- BBrooke JonesAug 1, 2025
If your Tennant Floor Machine is producing excessive dust, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the vacuum fan is on by pressing the main brush, vacuum, and filter shaker switch to the 'on' position. Other potential issues include worn or damaged brush skirts and dust seals, which may need replacement or adjustment. A clogged hopper dust filter should be shaken, cleaned, or replaced. Check that the hopper fire door is open and that the hopper isn't full, requiring emptying. If none of these steps resolve the issue, the vacuum fan may have failed, and you should contact Tennant service personnel.
