Why is my Tennant Blower having poor sweeping performance?
    • M
      Martha FlowersJul 28, 2025
If your Tennant Blower's sweeping performance is poor, start by checking the brushes for wear and replace them if needed. Make sure the main and side brushes are properly adjusted. Clear any debris caught in the main brush drive mechanism. Ensure the hopper isn't full, and replace the hopper lip skirts if they are worn or damaged. Also, verify that the hopper door is fully open and the main brush is in the Float position.

What to do if my Tennant 6500 Blower is excessively dusting?
    • G
      Gabrielle SullivanAug 12, 2025
If your Tennant Blower is excessively dusting, several factors could be the cause. Check the brush skirts and dust seals for wear, damage, or incorrect adjustment; replace or adjust them as needed. Also, inspect the hopper dust filter for clogs; shake, clean, or replace it. Ensure the shaker solenoid spring is connected and the filter shaker plate is correctly installed. Verify that the shaker solenoid pin is properly inserted into the hole of the filter element comb. Operating the engine at (Fast 1) speed instead of (Fast 2) might help. Check the vacuum hose for damage and replace if necessary. Remember to check if the hopper door is fully open and reset the Thermo Sentryt if it has tripped.
