. EXPANDING CAPACITY USING ADDITIONAL TS V UNITS
WARNING! Possible damage to the unit and/or battery inverter if the unit is extended by different
capacities.
If you would like to use multiple TS 48 V battery storage systems on one SMA Sunny Island, it is essen-
tial that they all have the same capacity.
NOTE: Up to four TS 48 V units can be connected in parallel per SMA Sunny Island using the master/
slave principle.
NOTE: When expanding a single-phase storage system to include one or more slave storage systems,
a Bat fuse
15
(single-phase) or a
16
(three-phase) must be ordered and installed at the same time.
If the system already has a three-phase Bat fuse
16
, up to four APUs can be connected to it, each
with a maximum of 16 battery modules.
