4 TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS
The next image shows you the cable used for temperature measurements:
You can connect the cable used to carry out temperature measurements
at any time.
Bring the temperature sensor into contact with the engine oil.
If the cable is not connected properly or becomes disconnected the
temperature value detected will be 180°C.
If you are using the OBD cable for data acquisition the sensor is not
required because the engine temperature value is detected via
communication with the engine control unit.
Adjust the length of the temperature sensor according to the oil
gauge dipstick.
