Removing a Faceplate

Battery Information
The TI-84 Plus C graphing calculator comes equipped with a Li-ion
rechargeable battery. Like a cell phone or other similar device, charge the
battery for at least four hours to ensure optimum performance. The
graphing calculator also comes with a USB computer cable for
transferring files to and from a computer and for charging the battery.
To check the status of the TI Rechargeable Battery in a TI-84 Plus C

ng calculator, turn it on. The battery status icon on the upper right
of the screen gives information on the battery life.
1. Lift the tab at the bottom edge
of the faceplate away from the
TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition case.
2. Carefully lift the faceplate away
from the unit until it releases.
Be careful not to damage the
faceplate or the keyboard.
1. Align the top of the faceplate in
the corresponding grooves of
the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition
case.
2. Gently click the faceplate into
place. Do not force.
3. Make sure you gently press
each of the grooves to ensure
the faceplate is installed
properly. See the diagram for
proper groove placement.
