LIMITATIONS
1.
PUSH
OFF/EMG
operation
is
prohibited
during
normal
operations.
2.
Use
of
the Entertainment
audio
input
(and
PED)
is
prohibited
during
takeoff
and
landing.
3.
Use
of
the
Entertainment audio
input
(and
PED)
is
prohibited
under
IFR
unless the
operator
of
the
aircraft
has
determined
that
the
use
of
the
12
VDC
power
supply
and
the
connected
portable
electronic
device(s)
will
not
cause
interference
with
the
navigation
or
communication
system
of
the
airplane.
NOTE
During
KMA
28
operation
in
the
OFF
or
EMG
position,
the
audio is disabled
preventing
installed
system
alerts
(autopilot
disconnect
tone)
from
being
heard. The marker
beacon
receiver audio and annunciator
lights
will
be
inoperative.

EMERGENCY
PROCEDURES
In
the
event
of
a
failure
of
the
KMA
28,
as
evidenced
by
the
inability
to
transmit
in
COM
1,
2
or
3.

OFF.
NOTE
This
action
bypasses
the
KMA
28
and
connects
the
pilot's
mic/headset
directly
to
COM
1
.
