Attention:
•Afteryouchangethestartupsequence,ensurethatyouselectacorrectdeviceduringacopy,asave,ora
formatoperation.Otherwiseyourdatamightbeerasedoroverwritten.
•IfyouareusingtheBitLocker™driveencryption,donotchangethestartupsequence.BitLockerdrive
encryptionlocksthecomputerfromstartingoncedetectsthechangeofstartupsequence.
Tochangethestartupsequencetemporarilysothatthecomputerstartsfromadesireddrive,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer.
2.Turnonthecomputer.WhentheThinkPadlogoisdisplayed,presstheF12key.
3.Selectthedevicethatyouwantthecomputertostartfrom.
Note:TheBootmenuwillbedisplayedifthecomputercannotstartfromanydevicesortheoperating
systemcannotbefound.
