Place the aluminium platter onto the sub-platter, fol-
lowed by the cardboard cartridge alignment protrac-
tor and then the acrylic disc. The cartridge alignment
protractor serves to decouple the acrylic disc. ➔ Fig. 3
To improve the replay quality and preserve your re-
cords, you may use an additional Thorens platter mat
(optionally available) made from felt, cork or a cork/
India rubber compound.
This almost completes the assembly of the turntable.
The only part missing now is the tonearm counter-
