4” laser head is not so sensitive for focus distance; you can set the distance about
10mm~12mm with the help of focus ruler, like below:

Please always insert the 4’’ laser head as far as it will go.
2) How to adjust focus distance by Auto
The Standard laser head will be provided with a stop ring. Always insert the laser head as
far as it will go, so that the correct focus distance is set during automatic focusing.
Move the table down till there’s enough space, then place the material between the auto
focus sensors.
Make sure you always insert as far as the laser head stops by the ring.
After that, go into Z/U button>>Select Auto Focus.
