Appendix C: Swivel Block Attachment
An optional hardware option for measuring from hole to hole or hole to edge.
Mode Switching
The Swivel Block has a foot for measuring with jaws and a block for measuring with a pin. Always calibrate (or ‘Zero’)
the SPC after switching modes or jaws (page 21).
Jaw to Pin
1. Remove the pin and jaw.
2. Rotate the Swivel Block counter-clockwise until it seats.
3. Insert the pin into the pin block.
Pin to Jaw
1. Remove the pin.
2. Rotate the Swivel Block clockwise until the foot is parallel with the table.
3. Slide the pin block into the orange notch.
4. Insert the pin into the pin block.
5. Attach the jaw to the foot.
