• The log splitter is equipped with an in-tank, ultra-fi ne steel mesh hydraulic oil fi lter
• The green/yellow/red gauge mounted on the hydraulic oil tank fi ller assembly indicates hydraulic fi lter condition
• Replace the fi lter when fi lter condition gauge needle fi rst enters the yellow zone
• Check your levels carefully and make sure the hydraulic tank is 2 to 4 inches from the top of the tank or in the middle of the sight

Hydraulic Oil Filter

• Change engine oil according to engine owners manual
• Change the hydraulic oil and hydraulic oil fi lter after every two hundred (200) hours of operation
• Change all fl uids and fi lter at least once a year
Note
If hydraulic oil becomes contaminated, change it immediately to prevent damage to the system.
