Operating Instructions
Preparation
Never move the log splitter with the engine running.
Make sure fuel valve on log splitter engine is in the “OFF” position.
Note
If fuel valve isn’t shut off , fuel will be forced into the cylinder and crankcase during travel. If that happens, the engine oil and spark plug will
have to be replaced.
• Always release hydraulic system pressure before transporting the log splitter. See directions on page 7
• Remove optional 4-way or 6-way wedge
• Remove optional table grate (see directions on page 18) and transport it in the tow vehicle
• Make sure there are no loose parts or debris on the log splitter to drop while it’s being towed
• Never tow the log splitter with a log on it
• Make sure the log lift is secured in the up position and locked with the angle iron supplied
• Make sure the support leg is pinned up and jack is retracted all the way up before transporting
