6.3 Long-Term Storage
Do not allow material to build up on the motor or
the motor will overheat. Do not allow ammable
solvents to come in contact with the motor or they
could ignite.
i
You will need a bucket, cleaning solution, a
toothbrush, a wrench and cleaning rags.
Attention
Do not use mineral spirits or paint thinner on
latex paint, or the mixture will turn into a jelly-like
substance which is dicult to remove.

container.
8. Turn the pressure control knob counterclockwise to the
minimum pressure setting.
9. Trigger the gun to relieve pressure and lock the gun.
10. Remove the spray tip and guard and place them into a

6. Cleanup
Attention
The sprayer, hose, and gun should be cleaned
thoroughly after daily use. Failure to do so permits
material to build up, seriously aecting the
performance of the unit.
Always spray at minimum pressure with the gun
nozzle tip removed when using mineral spirits or
any other solvent to clean the sprayer, hose, or
gun. Static electricity buildup may result in a re or
explosion in the presence of ammable vapors.
