General Description

Features

Front Panel Controls

Low Equalizer Control

Adjusts low frequency response (±15dB at 20Hz shelving) with a flat response at '0'.

High Equalizer Control

Adjusts high frequency response (±15dB at 20kHz shelving) with a flat response at '0'.

Reverb/Effect Cross-fade Control

Controls the balance between Reverb and external Effect signals in the mix buss.

Reverb/Effect Level Control

Determines the amount of reverb and effect signal returned to the system mixing buss.

Power/Protect LED Indicator

Indicates green for power on, red for thermal protection or fuse activation.

Input Channel Level Control

Provides variable adjustment of channel output to the mixing busses for level setting.

System Level Control

Determines the overall volume level of the KD-1 system output.

Headphone Jack

Accepts stereo headphones, providing the same signal as the speaker output.

Phantom Power On/Off Switch

Alternately turns phantom power (48V DC) on/off for the Channel 1 XLR connector.

Power Switch

Three-position switch; middle position is 'off'. Select position for lowest system hum.

AC Power Cord and Grounding

Three-wire type with grounding. Do not remove ground pin; use adapter if needed.

Recording Output Jacks

Unbalanced RCA pin jacks for pre-fader signals to tape recorders.

Input Level Selector (PAD)

Slide switch providing 30dB attenuation for 1/4" and RCA input jacks.

Balanced XLR Microphone Input

Electronically balanced connector for Channel 1, with phantom power support.

Effects ON/OFF Switches
