1. PRIOR TO USE
Only allow qualified operators to use the instrument.
This instrument is a diagnostic/measuring device
specially designed for ophthalmology. Never use
the instrument for other purposes.
Check that the guarantee certificate has all the
necessary details on it, and store it in a safe place. If
the content of the guarantee certificate is
incomplete, the guarantee may not be valid.
1.1 Safety precautions
1.1.1 General
Do not disassemble or modify the instrument. You may be directly
exposed to high voltage sections.
Turn power off and disconnect the power plug from the outlet and the
cable connecting devices before transporting the instrument. The cable
may break, resulting in fire or electric shock.
Do not measure a cornea weakened by disease or surgery.
Complications or damage may occur to the cornea.
The measurement window moves when the mode is switched to
REF/KRT, Tono/Pachy and/or Topo. Do not touch the moving section.
Doing so may cause failure of the instrument or injury.
Do not service or perform maintenance while using the instrument on a
patient.
If any failure occurs in the instrument, immediately stop operation,
indicate the failure in the instrument, and contact our local distributor
for repairs.
