3. Connect CAT D5/D6 CAN To M12 Cable Assembly (P/N 1040763-01) to the Tee connector on
the J1939 cable from the breakout cable. This assembly uses a 3-Pin Deutsch connector.
4. Connect the female end of the 3-Pin Deutsch connector for the cable labeled P/N 1040763-01
from the breakout cable harness to male end of machine interface connector labeled 3RD Party
ARO Connection with the green and yellow wires as shown in Figure 2-24.
5. Connect the CAT D5/D6 GCR Power Cable 6-Pin Deutsch connector assembly (P/N 1040764) to
the Power cable on the Breakout Cable.
6. Connect the female end of the 6-Pin Deutsch connector for the cable labeled P/N 1040764-01
from the Breakout Cable harness to male end of Machine Interface Connector labeled 3RD
PARTY ARO CONN with the red and black wires as shown in Figure 2-24.
7. Connect breakout cable to the GX-55 Touchscreen Display as detailed in the Instruction Card
attached to the breakout cable. Route the cable along the floor mat in the cab to prevent
tripping, as well as to avoid pinching or cutting near seat adjustment mechanisms.

8. Connect the cables from the antennas to the MC-X3 (Figure 2-22 on page 2-17).
9. Ensure that any excess cable is carefully bundled and secured.
