Checks and repairs on electrical components
To check the main motor winding, proceed as follows:
Disconnect the black wire from the connecting terminal (C) and the red wire
from the connecting terminal (E).
Connect a multimeter to the black and the red cable.
Measure the electrical resistance.
The nominal resistance is 1.8 Ω.
A significantly different resistance indicates a defective stator.
Connect the wire previously removed to the corresponding connecting
terminals.
