ServiceInterval:Aftertherst50hours
Every800hours
Iftheoilbecomescontaminated,contactyourlocalToro
distributorbecausethesystemmustbeushed.Contaminated
oillooksmilkyorblackwhencomparedtocleanoil.
1.Cleantheareaaroundtheltermountingarea
(Figure57).Placeadrainpanunderthelterand
removethelter.
Note:Iftheoilisnotgoingtobedrained,disconnect
andplugthehydrauliclinegoingtothelter.

2.Fillthereplacementlterwiththeappropriatehydraulic
uid,lubricatethesealinggasket,andhandturnituntil
thegasketcontactsthelterhead.Thentighten3/4
turnfurther.Theltershouldnowbesealed.
3.Fillthehydraulicreservoirwithapproximately5.5
gallonsofhydraulicoil;refertoServicingHydraulic
SystemFluid.
4.Startthemachineandrunitatidlefor3to5minutes
tocirculatetheuidandremoveanyairtrappedin
thesystem.
5.Stopthemachine,rechecktheuidlevelandreplenish
asrequired.
6.Disposeoftheoilandlterproperly.
