3.Atoneendofreel,insertalongstripofnewspaper
betweenreelandbedknife(Figure11).Whileslowly
rotatingreelforward,turnbedbaradjustingscrew
clockwise(onsameendofreel,oneclickatatime,
untilpaperispinchedlightly,wheninsertedfromthe
front,paralleltothebedknife.Aslightdragwillbe
notedasthepaperispulled.

4.Checkforlightcontactatotherendofreelusing
paperandadjustasrequired.
5.Aftertheadjustmentisaccomplished,checktosee
ifthereelcanpinchpaperwheninsertedfromthe
frontandcutthepaperwheninsertedatarightangle
tothebedknife(
Figure11).Itshouldbepossibleto
cutthepaperwithminimumcontactbetweenthe
bedknifeandthereelblades.Shouldexcessivereel
dragbeevident,itwillbeeithernecessarytobacklap
orregrindthecuttingunittoachievethesharpedges
neededforprecisioncutting(seetheToroReel
SharpeningManual).

1.Adjusttherearrollerbrackets(Figure12or
Figure13)totheloworhighpositiondependingon
thedesiredheightofcutrange.
Positionthespacerabovethesideplatemounting
ange(factorysetting)whenheightofcutsettings
rangefrom1/16to1/4inch(
Figure12).
