Note:Determinetheleftandrightsideofthemachine
fromthenormaloperatingposition.
AcceleratorPedal
Theacceleratorpedal(Figure14)givestheoperatorthe
abilitytovaryengineandgroundspeedofthevehicle,
whenthetransmissionisingear.Depressingthepedal
increasesengineRPMandgroundspeed.Releasing
pedalwilldecreaseengineRPMandgroundspeedof
themachine.

Theclutchpedal(Figure14)mustbefullydepressed
todisengageclutchwhenstartingengineorshifting
transmissiongears.Releasepedalsmoothlywhen
transmissionisingeartopreventunnecessarywearon
transmissionandotherrelatedparts.
Important:Donotrideclutchpedalduring
operation.Clutchpedalmustbefullyoutorclutch
willslipcausingheatandwear.Neverholdthe
vehiclestoppedonahillusingtheclutchpedal.
Damagetotheclutchmayoccur.
