Parking-Brake Lever
The parking-brake lever is located on the control
panel ( Figure 7 ).
Whenever you shut of f the machine, engage the
parking brake to prevent the machine from accidentally
moving. If the machine is parked on a steep grade,
ensure that you engage the parking brake.
T o engage the parking brake, pull the parking-brake
lever toward you ( Figure 8 ).

T o disengage the parking brake, push down the
button on top of the parking-brake lever , pull the
parking-brake lever toward you to release pressure,
and then push the parking-brake lever forward ( Figure
9 ).

Direction Selector
The direction selector is located to the left of the
parking-brake lever . The direction selector has 2
positions: F ORWARD and R EVERSE ( Figure 7 ).
Important: Always stop the machine before
changing direction.
Horn Switch
The horn switch is located on the control panel ( Figure
7 ). Press the horn switch to sound the horn.
Light Switch
Use the light switch ( Figure 7 ) to illuminate the
headlights. Push the light switch up to turn on the
headlights. Push the light switch down to turn of f the
lights.
USB Port
Use the USB port ( Figure 7 ) to power mobile devices.
Important: When you are not using the USB port,
insert the rubber plug to prevent damage to the
port.
Key Switch
Use the key switch ( Figure 7 ), to run and shut of f the
machine.
The key switch has 2 positions: O N and O FF . Rotate
the key clockwise to the O N position to operate the
machine. When you stop the machine, rotate the key
counterclockwise to the O FF position to shut of f the
machine. Remove the key whenever you leave the
machine.
