Charging the Lithium-Ion Batteries
CAUTION
Attempting to charge the batteries with a
charger not provided by T oro can result in
excessive heat and other related product
malfunctions, which can lead to property
damage and/or injury .
Use the T oro-provided chargers to charge the
batteries.
Recommended temperature range for charging:
0° to 45°C (32° to 1 13°F)
Important: Charge the batteries only in
temperatures that are within the recommended
range.
Note: The charger will not function in temperatures
exceeding the minimum or maximum temperatures.
The hot or cold battery indicators will appear on the
display .
The charging status is shown on the display .
If there is a fault, an error message will appear in
the display . T o correct an error , refer to the machine
Service Manual .
Completing the Charging Process
1. Remove the power-supply cord from the
machine charger outlet.
2. Place the cord in a storage position that avoids
damage.
3. T urn on the machine.
4. V erify the charge level; refer to Display ( page
14 ) .
