Changetheoilinitiallyafterrst200hoursofoperation.
Thereafterchangetheoilevery800hours,oryearly,
whicheveroccursrst.UseahighqualitySAE85W-140
gearlube.
1.Jackupthefrontofthemachineandsupportwith
jackstands.
2.Removethefrontwheels.
3.Rotatethewheelsothatthecheck/drainplug
(Figure63)isatthelowestposition.

4.Placeadrainpanunderthehub,removetheplug,
andallowtheoiltodrain.
5.Whenalloftheoilhasdrained,positionthewheel
sothattheplugholeisatthe3or9o’clockposition.
6.Placeadrainpanunderthebrakehousingonthe
othersideofthewheel(Figure64).
7.Removetheplugfromthebottomofthehousing
andallowtheoiltodrain.
8.Whenalloftheoilhasdrained,installtheplugin
thehousing.
9.Addapproximately16oz(0.5l)ofhighqualitySAE
85W-140gearlubetotheplanetaryllhole(atthe
3or9o’clockposition)untilthelevelisuptothe
bottomofthebrakehousingcheckhole.Installthe
plug.
10.Repeattheprocedureontheoppositegearassembly.
