AdjustingtheThrottleCable
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst50hours—Checkthe
enginespeed(atidleandfullthrottle).
Every400hours—Checktheengine
speed(atidleandfullthrottle).
Adjustthethrottlecable(Figure72)sothatthegovernor
leverontheenginecontactsthelowandhighspeedset
boltsbeforethethrottlelevercontactstheslotinthe
controlpanel.

Withthetractionswitchinthemowposition(low
speed),thetractionpedalshouldcontactthestopjust
beforethepumpisatfullstroketopreventanydamage
tothepump.Ifitdoesnot,performthefollowing
procedure:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stoptheengine,
andlowerthecuttingunitstotheoor.Removethe
ignitionkey.
2.Depressthetractionpedaluntilitisatfullstroke
(Figure73).Thejamnutsmayhavetobeloosened
andthestoploweredtoattainfullstroke.
