Moweitherinthelatemorningtoavoidthedew,which

toSuitConditions
Removeapproximately1in.(25mm)ornomorethan
1/3ofthegrassbladewhencutting.Inexceptionally
lushanddensegrass,youmayhavetoraisethe
height-of-cuttothenextsetting.
MowatProperIntervals
Undermostnormalconditionsyouwillneedtomow
approximatelyevery4-5days.Butremember,grass
growsatdifferentratesatdifferenttimes.Thismeans
thatinordertomaintainthesameheight-of-cut,which
isagoodpractice,youwillneedtocutmorefrequently
inearlyspring;asthegrassgrowthrateslowsinmid
summer,cutonlyevery8-10days.Ifyouareunableto
mowforanextendedperiodduetoweatherconditions
orotherreasons,mowrstwiththeheight-of-cutata
highlevel;thenmowagain2-3dayslaterwithalower
heightsetting.
AlwaysMowwithSharpBlades
Asharpbladecutscleanlyandwithouttearingor
shreddingthegrassbladeslikeadullblade.Tearingand
shreddingcausesthegrasstoturnbrownattheedges
whichimpairsgrowthandincreasessusceptibilityto
diseases.
MowingPatterns
Changemowingpatternsoftentominimizeaftercut
appearanceissuesinducedbyrepetitiveoperationin
onlyonedirection.
Counterbalance
Thecounterbalancesystemmaintainshydraulicback
pressureonthedeckliftcylinders.Thiscounterbalance
pressuretransferscuttingdeckweighttothemower's
drivewheelstoimprovetraction.Thecounterbalance
pressurehasbeenfactorysettoanoptimalbalanceof
aftercutappearanceandtractioncapabilityinmostturf
conditions.Decreasingthecounterbalancesettingcan
produceamorestablecuttingdeck,butcandecrease
thetractioncapability.Increasingthecounterbalance
settingcanincreasethetractioncapability,butmay
